Pros

Compensation is pretty good compared to other sales jobs I've seen posted. It's not rocket science and if you are willing to break a sweat you can do well.

Cons

The industry as a whole (yellow pages- print & online) is a scary place to work in if you're not retiring in the near future. It's becoming a harder industry to work in and is certainly not what it used to be.

Pros

Best reason to work for Yellow book is to create your own schedule and go and do what you want when you want. They have great technology, and new tablet pc's. They have a lot of products to offer (some at ridiculous prices). The focus is to take (and make) as much money as possible.

Cons

Biggest downfall is the lack of communication between management and the field sales team. There is little to no focus on anything but being profitable. Each week something new is introduced and you are expected to be a pro at selling it, even with no training. Its tough to make a name for yourself in the industry unless you are willing to back stab and work insane amount of hours.
