A great learning experience for how not to run a company.
Pros
Meeting lots of great people and building relationships with clients. Working from a virtual environment provided some flexibility of schedule in the past, not so much these days. I learned a great deal about the sales process in my 10 years there
Cons
Being forced to sell products to clients that they didn't necessarily want, then having the company not deliver the product (specifically websites) that I sold to the client led to cancellations, frustrations, and angry clients. Sales support, billing, and customer service used to be great, but has gone way downhill as it has been outsourced over the last 2 years. what else would you expect, your losing a dollar to save a quarter. When a salesperson is spending more time fixing billing, customer service, and production issues than they are selling, there is a problem.
