Pros

Benefits great. Salary great

Cons

If someone in your family or you yourself becomes seriously sick . They will write you up whether it is fair or not. They will find away to get rid of you. This one poor guy broke his leg. He went home every night with a swollen leg cause he knew if he didn't they would get rid of him.

Pros

working from home was a great idea for those with good boundries. The small office allowance never even paid my internet charges, much less paper and ink when needed. The medical and dental and eye insurance were great, but the prescription coverage was so bad that I often did without Insulin for two weeks because the copay was more than I could spend and keep my vehicle on the road to sell and pay my household expenses. If someone tells you that when a door closes, God will open a better one..........do believe it.

Cons

I was pushed out so to speak. After 20 years of building business relationships and darn good ones, all of my accounts were suspended for over two months and then given to a man who before demotion had been my manager. I was put in a position that I had no understanding of and was hard for me to learn. I used a lot of personal time to try to make it work but to no avail. No one wanted to buy websites because the quality was that of one of the build it yourself on GO Daddy. I at first thought they were trying to push me out because of age. I had already landed a new job in another city temporarily when I fell and got hurt. I asked to used my remaining vacation days to take care of medical appointments. Upper management swore that they had no knowledge of it and told me to resign on the spot and use no vacation. (I assume that was so I couldn't qualify for unemployment) It didn't matter to me, I already had the new job. Six months later, the lady who replaced me was let go because she couldn't learn the complicated website sales position and couldn't make given quotas. (our quotas were the same as Houston TX, in a market of $65,000) Not so long after they dismissed the new hire, they dismissed the other two reps, stating that they would renew all print ads and sell websites via telemarketing...........Good luck with that in this market.
