      Pros

      Great place to learn the world of insurance. Great group of peers to learn and grow from. Growing company that will be around for a long time. It might be becoming a large corporation but you really do feel like part of a family.

      Cons

      Not much encouragement to advance to new positions. Upper management holds too tightly to a strict set of requirements when it comes to becoming a sales producer. As long as you have the degree, your experience, drive and accomplishments mean little when it comes to consideration of promotions.

      Pros

      Everyone is very friendly and laid back and they give you the tools you need to get the job done.

      Cons

      There is sometimes a lack of communication with lower level employees as far as procedures go so mistakes get made.

      Nice offices. Nice work hours. Nice people.

      Cons

      The company is buying other agencies so fast there is no way of making sure personalities will work. Transitions of other offices to the Higg way can be overwhelming. Account Managers in Employee Benefits need better support to handle workload. Account Managers do it all, brokers can either get in the way or be totally non existent. Below industry salary.
