Amazing co workers and students. I have previously worked at 2 other Universities and hated it. When I came to HPU, it was like a different world. To start, you could never find a more beautiful campus...seriously, its UN-BELIEVEABLE. Every time you turn around people are warm and welcoming, from security to the President himself. On that note, Nido is-the-man. The relief of working for someone who actually knows what they are doing is incomparable. When he walks in he actually knows your name. I'm not that important and guess what, he knows my name. Maybe even first and last. There are great perks like the President adding money to your I.D every semester so faculty and staff can eat or shop for free at any of the "Passport" locations (which there are many). They even do Christmas bonus. I didn't even know they were a real thing until I came here. All and all, you will be VERY hard pressed to find a better place to work, or better people to work with.

Great perks of traveling is that you can keep your hotel, rental car, & airline points. Have the opportunity to visit places you would not have gone to otherwise. If you are a graduate of the school, it is easy to talk about and connect with students.
