Pros

Benefits and work life balance were pretty good. Staff are very friendly in the business office.

Cons

Long term employees find change hard. The district is extremely top heavy. Seems like they spend most of their money on upper management that could be spent elsewhere. Promotions were given to individuals based on who they knew.

Benefits are great. Opportunities are very limited. On the cutting edge of liberal minded and socially driven structures. Racially diverse environment/region. Gender equal attitudes.

Cons

The work environment has a unregulated political temperature. Employees walk on eggshells regarding their personal life and opinions. Administrators at Central Office are generally viewed to be overpaid and unfair in valuations. Budget and pay volumes are non-competitive and sometimes viewed to based on non-sufficient data.
