Pros
Lots of collaboration and professional development opportunities through partnership with many great organizations like Teacher's College, Teachers Development Group, University of Washington's Ambitious Science Teaching and more. They also have a peer mentor program that is robust and sustainable. There are many peer mentors and ambassadors at each school.
Cons
There are really high standards by the superintendent that can feel impossible to achieve, but it is resulting in an improvement in graduation rates. There have a no out-of-school suspension policy that makes the work environment difficult because students feel like there is little consequence sometimes and continue to be disrespectful.
