Pros

Cons

micromanagement to the extreme, very punitive, horrible managerial staff.. change job duties daily.. literally because they don't know what they are doing.. very very hard to work for them.. everyone is leaving.. can take it for so long.. lie a lot.. don't believe anything they say get it all in writing..

Used to be a great place to work

Pros

The benefits are good... used to be better. Year end Incentive is good if you are able to get a fair rating with the calibration system and the staff takes pride in their work and are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Work life balance is poor. In IS, staff often worked weekends and staff even worked last Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year days. You are often working weekends and taking you computer with you even on vacation.

Pros

There are no pros, since Highmark took over they have steadily taken away all the positive aspects of this company. The only bright spot is the people you work with who.

Cons

Absolutely NO work/life balance. Your life belongs to Highmark and don't forget it. Mandatory extra work and it you are salary that means no lunch, no breaks and minimum 50 hour work weeks. They are always raising the bar and asking for more.
