The PTO is probably the best any job offers. Yearly bonus and rises

Cons

Maintenance shop is responsible for everything. Company is cheap on buying new equipment/parts. The work life balance is awful. If you’re like me and don’t like overtime then this isn’t the place for you.

There is absolutely no room for career growth unless you are manager's favorite. They will expect you to be available on weekends (even non union employees) with no advanced notice, If your supervisor has your personal mobile number, you will be bothered via texts and calls on your paid time off day asking for documents location or project status etc..So unprofessional. The company was the worst at covid management. They would silently sanitize the room without notifying the employees of someone from the company being infected. Worst team and management. Very biased in hiring process. If you are a relative or friend with the plant manager, you won't even have to interview for the position, you just get it like that. The work environment was so stressful and underpaid that it started affecting my health.
