Pros

The people you deal with daily are usually very pleasant to be around. Dealing with the people I deal with make going to my job worthwile. My coworkers are wonderful, they are almost always very great to work with. We all have a lot of fun together.

Cons

There is a lot of poor communication amongst many of the employees that work there.

Pros

Great opportunity for advancement or cross training due to the large number of positions and hotels located across the world. If you are an outstanding employee, it will be easy to advance. Also, being able to travel and receive free room nights from a Hilton brand is an added benefit.

Cons

Compensation and pay is low which is a norm in hospitality. Also, sometimes expect long hours if you work any of the catering departments or food service. The Catering Sales Manager work a lot of hours and their sales quota is pretty high because the hotel can generate a lot of revenue.
