      Pros

      With this position you will get what you put into the job. Opportunities for growth, good for self starters, the smaller the office the more roles you will take on. I enjoyed working with all parts of the team and taught myself everything from writing contracts, event management, communications, risk management requirements, etc. Can be an expert at a lot of things if you put the work in.

      Cons

      Male dominated industry, dealt with constant sexism from contractors and previous coworkers (more old school). Did not have any strong female leaders to look up to at my branch, voice was often diminished because of this. Became better over time after I gained respect from most of the people I interacted with. New initiatives are working to change that. Need thick skin.
