Pros

Good midtown location near most subways. 3 main sales people make a fortune to the demise of rest of company which pays for it all.

Cons

Terribly managed company run like a mom and pop organization with a mother-daughter team that still does business like it was a 5 person company, President, HR, PR, operations, sales all in one person.

Pros

Opportunity to make decent commissions. Autonomony.

Cons

This is a Mother/ Daughter run company. There is no HR department. If you have any ethical disputes, there is no outlet for that type of complaint. They have no concern for work/ life balance. On your paid time off, you are expected to return phone calls, set up meetings, interviews, answer credentialing quesitons, respond to blackberry messages, etc at any time of day or night. It was highly competitive and a very biased environment. No supplemental benefits were offered, meaning if you wanted to obtain insurance through this company, you were responsible for 100% of the premiums.

Pros

The project was interesting and the hiring law firm personnel were professional.

Cons

The quality and lack of professionalism of some of the other attorneys working on the project was horrible, I was verbally and emotionally harassed by another female attorney, who made the environment hostile to work in and I asked to be moved to a different working place. This attorney was constantly talking and not doing her work. We were working in a small office environment and she made it very difficult for the others in our small group to work. A few of the attorneys in the group weren't doing much work because of the talking and socializing, and others of us did so much more. It's easy to see who is doing work by checking with the document review software. Even document reviewers can do this. Also, doing document review in a closed space with no windows is not healthy.
