Working hours as per client timezone, that’s a bit challenging to manage with family

I was hired on December, Join in January, and was laid off by the first week of February 2026. To get this job, I went through 3 interviews and presented a marketing plan to my hiring manager. Once on board, I attended a week long marketing planning meeting and met the team, While there, I found the dynamics very strange. They would all trash the former boss and one particular person on the team did not seem to like me. I received 2 assignments from the director while my own manager did not speak to me. I passed along my assignment to my manager and asked he can take a look and make sure I was doing everything ok. He did not offer much guidance. A month later, I was let go because he said "I wasn't picking things up fast enough."
