Pros

Hitachi as great benefits, by far the best benefits of any company I've worked for.

Cons

Starting pay is low and you will go several years without a raise, inflation adjustment, or promotion. If the raise does finally come you'll be lucky if its a measurable amount.

Talented, amazing people to work with. Virtual offices.

Cons

Poor decision making and foresight from leadership caused a no-notice freeze of salaries and no promotion pay/retroactive pay. They kept employees hanging for months on their raises, to inform them no retro/no raise two days before the pay cycle they were due to receive them. People are leaving en masse.
