-Management is quick to point out mistakes, slow to praise successes.
-Understaffed, which means you will often not get days off, even if you request them.
-Says bathroom duty is random, but stock usually gets it at least 3 days a week, which is statistically near-impossible in a pool of 10 closing employees. This is good for other departments I guess.
-Bathrooms are always a disaster by the way. Nobody cleans them correctly.
-Unrealistic Demands.
-Management will not listen to employees and treats them like they're idiots.
-Prepare for a stress-filled and crazy day whenever the District Manager comes in.
-Said they will not work with other part-time jobs.
-Scheduled me for a 3-hour shift over an interview for a part time job that did not affect my hours at Hobby Lobby. My hours were dramatically cut that week as well.
Overall, it is a decent experience if you're a student and limit your time here. Any more hours than that and it begins to drive you crazy. For some reason, once I graduated, management just stopped treating me like a person all of a sudden, gave me bathroom duty all the time, and never gave me the days off I requested well in advance. It just seems like I'm putting so much work into this company only to get absolutely nothing in return.
