It's Like High School

Pros

Free soda and that's about it.

Cons

The location is terrible, the office is appalling, and they act like high school students. It's like watching a real life episode of Mean Girls taking place right before your very eyes. It's rather shocking actually that employees in management positions are allowed and encouraged to behave like they do.

Pros

- It's a paycheck and we are in the middle of a global pandemic, so that's a positive

Cons

- No work/life balance - I worked 6-7 days a week for the first month or so - Lack of trust between management and employees; management is extremely micro-managing and constantly over your shoulder and in your inbox (simultaneously) - Terrible and expensive benefits - Low morale and lack of professionalism across the board - Disorganized in every way. There is no consistent process structure between locations, even within the same team - Disregard for employee safety during a pandemic; standing directly over your shoulder or inches away from your face without a mask

good culture, fast growing

Pros

Hogan is a fast growing company that emphasizes promotions from within. I've benefited from this, as have several of my colleagues. The company also maintains a good "family business" culture that differs from my past experience with larger, publicly-held companies. Hogan's management truly encourages a team approach on developing strategy. Customers feel the good culture, as well, which creates a good long term partnership.

Cons

While Hogan has a really good overall culture, there is still not enough focus on technology (all departments). We're a bit behind our competition in this regard.
