Pros

Good fun. Easy job. Meeting and greeting people all day. Lots of eye candy. Take a real interest in people, helping them train. You end up knowing everyone. You will have a few 'relationship'/'indiscretions'...it seemed everyone did...a boiling pot of men and women and things happen. Average training in your role. Opportunity to push for a few courses.

Cons

You will have a few relationship/ indiscretions. Shift work/weekends but its not that bad. Occasional chavs bringing down the atmos/ confrontations. Low pay. Sub stand exercise kit

Pros

Fairly flexible shifts. Am able to work permanent part time while being a full time student. Am able to get discount on a gym in my area. Qualify for CostCo wholesale membership. Get staff discounts on IHG group hotels which i have used a few times, from £65 a night to £30 a night for deluxe rooms, however this could change as a different company has bought out the franchise.

Cons

Wages are quite low. Job sometimes feels like hard labour, management cutting down staff numbers, feels a little understaffed at times, Work can get intense on a busy day.
