Pros

Benefits were good and it was clear the company was run by an incredibly competent group of people. HR was also good.

Cons

Some departments, including the one I worked in, had a tendency to be deeply cliquey and the employees made no effort to hide it. This led to less competent workers being put into positions of power over others, disseminating unclear instructions that made it obvious the person giving them didn't actually understand what was going on. For example, telling subordinates to do "whatever you think is best" without being able to explain what the goal or parameters are.

Pros

Better benefits compared to other firms, most co workers and attorneys are great, flexible hours.

Cons

Benefits are changing, but I think that trend is the way all firms are headed. Each year insurance coverage lessens, but costs more and deductions are higher. Bonus structure was recently changed and we are apprehensive it will be a downward trend as with insurance coverage. The operations center seems to have a revolving door. That makes it difficult to do some parts of our jobs.

The co-workers are very nice.

Cons

Firm leadership suppressed hiring for so long that it has severely impacted operations. They're only concerned with adding more and more offices and not hiring staff to keep the operations going.
