Always in "financial crisis" mode, makes billions

Pros

The coworkers are amazing (on the manufacturing floor) and I couldn't ask for a better supervisor. The benefits package is good for the most part. With the job you get dental for cheap, life insurance included, and mammography's at clinics that use Hologic machines.

Cons

This company does not try to hide the fact that they are revenue first, everything second. Many employees need to work two jobs to survive while the company rakes in billions in profits every year. On the office side, the culture is very isolated (at least for US offices) and it's hard to get people to talk to you. The job can get very frustrating when many of the issues come from either legacy engineers or an unwillingness of supervisors and managers to try something new. There are very few people who are allowed to work from home even when many of the office side jobs are almost 100% computer based.
