Burnout

Pros

Good health insurance, nice people

Cons

Right now...burnout. Hard to have a family with this company. Top performers are leaving for other opportunities. Also, some big acquisition misses over the last ~5 years. Puts leadership into question

Pros

Pretty Solid equipment if it was taken care of. They offer profit sharing. They have improved the training for Engineers. If your customers are happy, you are given a lot of freedom on how you run your territory. Quality of tallent. Most of the people you will work with on the FSE level are very good at their jobs and willing to help.

Cons

Pay but that depends on your market. Large markets haven't kept up with customers pay scale. After 2 years you can go work for a customer starting at 20-30k more than Hologic pays. This sadly has created a revolving door with the position. The FSL app. It can take 45 minutes to close one call at the end of the day. A lot of people end up giving up and their call log builds up. They aren't looking for a better solution. But it is an opportunity for some easy overtime. Management's understanding of how long it takes to do certain tasks. One high level manager bragged about how much work one of our employees did. This manager didn't see that the employee is completely stressed out, burning himself out everyday just to try to do the work of two people. Backfilling roles, since I have been with the company they haven't done a good job backfilling roles of people leaving. For every 2 people that leave the replace them with one.
