Pros

Hologic has changed for the better in many ways in the 4 years since I left the organization. It has emerged from much of the turmoil of the past to be one of the strongest biotechnology companies with significant presence in San Diego. Some of the key strengths include: Strong leadership team Clear commitment to growth and performance Exceptional products based on innovative science Fantastic people, very smart and committed to making a difference

Cons

Large complex organization which can sometimes make it challenging to balance priorities.

Pros

Good products with strong market share in most categories we compete in. Have been successful in growing our way out of a terrible debt issue created by previous management.

Cons

Too much emphasis on shareholder value. Raises have been non-existent for 5+ years. High performers don't even get raises that match traditional cost of living. They make it up with one time, but strong, bonuses.
