Pros

Great people. Good benefits. Local HR were great for personal problems. Focus time acknowledged as a requirement for all staff. Private healthcare. Flexibility and support with further education. My department was run as I saw fit without influence from others under the same ‘Operations’ umbrella.

Cons

Very low salary for position regardless of tenure. Communication between Leadership Team and direct reports was not great - lots of things being missed. Reporting lines did not make sense. Lack of technical experts in management. Culture not great, could be better. Blame culture needs addressing - even after leaving it continued. Removal of employee scorecards - very bad performance management tool. Site focus can be improved. Leadership level management needs a full review as it’s not a good place if you appreciate good mental health.

At least the job posting looks good, but after this experience, I’m guessing half of it isn't true...

Cons

I've applied for this position twice in the past six months, and the second time, their own recruiter reached out to me. Both phone interviews were canceled less than an hour before the scheduled time. If you're going to be this unprofessional, why bother contacting me at all?
