Pros

Nice R&D labs and good people to work with. Overall good company with great products.

Cons

Some overtime and occasional weekends. Recent layoffs due to budget cuts - they got rid of long time employees and replaced with younger ones.

Hologic develops great products that save women's lives. It invests a lot in R&D and has a very bright future. Working for Hologic really makes you think that no matter what you do, you help to improve the quality of lives of women around the world.

Cons

Despite the recent changes, lots of decisions are made in a silo. Key stakeholders are not always involved in decision-making processes. Work-life balance is not easy to achieve. Employee engagement is spoken a lot about, but not much is actually done. Hologic is not family-friendly.
