      A great workout but effort does not equal outcome

      Pros

      A lot of opportunity in the summer to fill ice boxes. Reasonable management. An emphasis on safety. Get to see areas never visited before.

      Cons

      Long days and early mornings. Harsh elements working in the extreme cold and heat. Repetitive work (stack, unstack, repeat). Little room for growth.

      Pros

      Flexibility year round, no repercussions for most things. Do what you can is all that’s expected

      Cons

      No recourses to go above bare minimum long long hours in summer. Say you don’t have to but it’s expected and what’s necessary to do what should be done. Management is paid less per day than a year 1 driver with no cdl doing what is actually expected of them.
