Pros

When routes hit, you make very good money compared to a lot of other professions. Flexibility with work schedules (though from May to early September you have to work Saturdays if needed)

Cons

Equipment is old and faulty. Miscommunications happen a lot. Some routes require a wide range of ground to be covered.

Pros

Some commission made on weekends where sales are high, otherwise base pay is expected for most weeks.

Cons

Lack of proper training. Old or faulty equipment. Management is numbers focused and has no care for building a reputable work community.

Pros

A lot of opportunity in the summer to fill ice boxes. Reasonable management. An emphasis on safety. Get to see areas never visited before.

Cons

Long days and early mornings. Harsh elements working in the extreme cold and heat. Repetitive work (stack, unstack, repeat). Little room for growth.
