Overworked. Underpaid. Unappreciated. You’re a line item on a p&l sheet. Managers care more about route completion and revenue goals than their employees. Managers will use the term “you’re either with me or against “ to conform to their liking. I was even told I would be fired if I didn’t conform to their liking. Don’t bother leaving a notice if you leave. You’ll be fired on the spot. There’s no room for advancement unless you’re one of the ones they like. Nepotism runs rampant. Training has become non existent except for a 2 minute video every month. Safety is pushed upon the techs but managers aren’t held to the same standard. Example, GM on a regional safety zoom call driving with his camera on. If a tech would’ve done that they would have been fired on the spot. They won’t buy equipment because it isn’t in the budget. Yet you’re told to do a job that requires certain equipment.
