Pros

Customers are awesome. If a customer mentions you in a survey you get a $10 gift card. Offer prices and gift cards for getting TJX card sign ups. Nice employees and very safe work environment. 10% off at Home Goods,TJMaxx, and Marshalls. Free 15 minute break.

Cons

You are paid $7.50 an hour yes i repeat 7.50 an hour. You might get a 30 hour week followed by a 12 hour week. They'll even waste your time and schedule you a 3 hour shift not cool. Work 5 hours and you have to clock out for a 45 minute lunch. They pressure youu to get people to sign up for the TJX rewards card and its almost impossible because it's a credit card.

Pros

You work in a fast paced environment.

Cons

Pay is bad for what you are expected to do. The assistant managers over you (for the most part) do the exact same thing you do, except they are salary and make over double what you make. The hours are erratic, you have to deal with the public.

Pros

Easy job. 10% off at HomeGoods, Marshalls, TJMaxx. Usually always opportunity to pick up someone else's shift. Fun if you like to talk to customers.

Cons

Hard to move up in the company, immature managers (lied about employees behind their backs), no doctor's notes taken for part-time employees, will cut back hours randomly one week compared to the next even if you are a good worker, full-time barely makes their full-time hours, minimum wage pay with very little raises even for near perfect job performance
