Pros

Best work life balance I have ever experienced in my 25 years of retail management. Executives at all levels of the organization are approachable and interactive. Store visits are focused on what we need at store level. There is a healthy push for results that keeps the company viable and financially healthy. I feel I am fairly compensated.

Cons

The biggest con is that I didn't find this company earlier in my career.

Pros

Best reasons to work here... thats a good question. Haven't found one yet.

Cons

As an OPS manager in a stand alone store, you are basically the store manager, but have no support whatsoever. You get bashed from your other ASMs if theres an issue, and you get thrown under the bus regardless. Salary sucks, no work life balance.

Pros

-love the people I work alongside -Work life balance ACCEPTABLE (not great) -My store manager is great, he cares about you, and wants to help -Very easy to move up. You have to be smart enough to know that most adults are unwilling to accept this MEDIOCRE pay, therefore if you are a above privileged kid (16yrs-20yrs) living with your parents, and pay NO bills, the turnover rate is so high, you can move about the whole store. - if you're the best performer, management will be hesitant to rock your boat, as they do not get very many A-players (LOW PAY!!!).

Cons

-VERY low pay to work ratio -at my store the female assistant managers, and coordinators expect male employees to do everything that requires manual labor. The application does not even ask for your gender, (so it doesn't matter) but it does require YOU to lift 40LBS or more. Get with it ladies, your not exempt for manual labor, if you were, you would not get paid the same as males do. -I think its difficult for the ASMs to know when too much is too much. I cannot run all my tanks, get called to the front for backup/price checks (due to poor scheduling), help (lazy people) carry things to the front, get line one (again for lazy people), AND process the UNFINISHED freight (Again due to SUB-PAR scheduling, and unwillingness to hire!!!) -One ASM in particular has all kinds of issues (she has TERRIBLE people skills) and SM just lets her do WHATEVER with ZERO re-precautions
