Pros

Good amount of hours given, great hard-working associates, and will work with your schedule. Getting to interact with so many great people is the best thing about the job. You will see people so excited about a new house or designers doing their magic

Cons

Seasonal associates given choice of holiday to take off- while regular associates weren't, they will burn you out if you don't request time off yourself. As a cashier/customer service, you will do all tasks in the store- like stocking the shelves, merchandising, moving store departments. The furniture is heavy and there may not be any guys to help customers load these items. There are lots of ways you can get injured in the store.

Pros

•Positive environment • Friendly coworkers • Flexible hours • If you accidentally do something wrong they don't yell at you. • Fun managers (except one)

Cons

• Some coworkers are gossipers • too much merchandise comes in • can get boring, especially if you are a processor in the back room. • Cell phones are not allowed on you • Work schedules are posted only in the brake room when they should be posted online for employees.

Pros

Employees and management try to provide as much of a positive environment as they can. When the store is full, the fast past work environment is the best.

Cons

Low pay, if pay does go up while working the same position than it is only increased by a couple of cents. Anyone who remained at home goods for more than a year seemed burnt out and tired of showing up f or work
