Pros

A fun environment depending on which employees you work with on the floor. Also, you may sometimes come across a few polite and sociable customers who make your job feel a little more rewarding.

Cons

Many of the managers there had little to no concern for employees that weren't their "favorites". Managers often gave contradicting orders which lead to you getting in trouble. Terrible pay for that type of work.

Pros

If you've never worked retail and you want experience it might be a good start for a teenager. However, they only start at minimum wage so I'm sure you can find any other store that would be willing to hire you for more. If you are really desperate for a job and it's the only option you have then I'd say it's a fine job until something better comes along.

Cons

They expect way too much for a minimum wage job. They constantly push you to work faster and never give credit for hard work. They're really cheap and when I was given a promotion it was only an increase of $1.50.
