Working in IT at Homes.com has been full of opportunity to roll up your sleeves and dig into exciting, web scalable technologies. The company understands the challenges of running a high traffic national website while maintaining the balance of personal freedom and innovation. The work environment is casual with a fun atmosphere yet always productive.

Cons

The corporate environment of the parent company can be "stuffy" at times. They can be slow to action on less than stellar employees.

Parking. Pizza once a month. Access to a mall.

Cons

The interview was essentially an interrogation . They promised a lot and delivered little. I sold ads in one state and they delivered the client leads from an entirely different state. When I brought this to their attention, they handled it with no sense of urgency. I lost the client and that was enough for me. I resigned and three weeks later the fired the managers and over half of the sales staff.

Management sold us on the premise that the company was solid gold and that the future was bright at dominion enterprises and homes.com. 8 employees quit within my first two months at homes.com. Was told that they had budgeted for 20 more account executives shortly after hire! The company decided to do a force reduction just before thanksgiving. Got rid of all the new hires and 3 managers. In total 15 people were let go and the kept 11
