Pros

The first 3 months at this job I was struggling but my team lead and my manager help me out did not micromanage me they helped me out and let me sell like myself.

Cons

This job is grind, if you struggle with rejection and adversity this may not be the job for you. But if you have a sport mentality love to learn and overcome adversity and see yourself grow into a great leader. This job is for you!

Pros

I've been with HDC for over 8 months and from the moment I started it's been the best job, with the best company culture, that I've ever had the privilege of being a part of. Management is constantly challenging themselves to improve every facet of office life -- there's even a committee dedicated to company culture. Managers have an open-door policy and value a work/life balance because they want their employees to be healthy. I've never worked for company so invested in their staff members. They expect you to HUSTLE, but they also make time for fun to reward hard work.

Cons

Only one slight con: There isn't a specific "work from home" policy, and I'm not sure there's a policy on shifting hours. (For example, taking short lunches during the week to leave a couple hours early on a Friday.) Personally, I've been fortunate to have been able to WFH on a few occasions, but it's been at the discretion of my own management and I cannot say for certain that the opportunity is the same for all employees. Employee autonomy over their work hours and WFH is becoming more standard in marketplace practices, so I think embracing them would really help HDC continue to be "with the times" like they are with so many other things they do.

Thanks for the awesome review! I definitely hear you on the WFH policy. We have always deferred to the manager on this one, and several others, as we believe he/she understands what's best for the employee, the team and productivity. Please continue to communicate your needs to your manager. And, yes, I try to do "walkabouts" on both floors, but could do a better job for sure. Great suggestions!

Freedom to be yourself, Great trainers, pay is great, awesome culture, spiffs are daily, you can feel the positive energy when you step into the office everyday, I think it is awesome that Ceo's National sales Director flys down from Norfolk,Virginia not only took the time to say hellp to every one. I even got a meeting with Joe Sesso our National Sales Director. Just the fact that he took time to get to know me as a person amazing. This company it is the great people that will keep you here. I give credit to my success to my trainers Erin and Brian. Not only for training for the job but I have take control of my personal growth because of them.
