Pros

Benefits, 401k match, and office amenities that’s it.

Cons

Working at Homes.com has been a frustrating experience, to say the least. The product they sell is not effective, and it’s clear that even the agents are aware of it. You’re essentially offering a service that doesn’t work, and that becomes evident when clients don’t see any results. What’s worse is that when agents fulfill their contracts but don’t renew, Homes.com takes chargebacks from their commission, which feels incredibly unfair. The workload is grueling – you’re expected to handle 60-80 calls a day, on top of completing two demos daily. This kind of pressure leaves little room for anything else, and it quickly becomes unsustainable. As for the product itself, the only real benefits are the exposure and the virtual tours, but even those can’t make up for the lack of real results. There’s no real value in what you’re selling other than the illusion of it. If you’re considering a move to Richmond, be aware that the job market there is far from great, and it might not be the best place to find opportunities outside of Homes.com. Overall, save yourself the frustration and find something more rewarding than being gaslighted into believing you’re selling something that works.

Pros

The management and other staff were fairly nice. The training was good. Pay and commission structure was fair.

Cons

**This review is from 2020, I know there has been a shift in their plan since I worked there** It all came down to the product being awful. This marketing product is mass sold to real estate agents and the page views to support this marketing are just NOT there. There was a lot of dancing around major concepts and questions... like how many leads was an area actually generating. Never could we give a straight forward answer, because granted the real answer was terrible. The more I learned, the more I had an issue taking money from agents just trying to survive. Not a worthwhile product for about 90% of the people it was being sold to. Lots of unhappy customers, go read the real reviews. Employees were constantly leaving once they figured it all out. It was not due to a lack of talent. My entire hiring class was gone within 6 months.

I'm certainly concerned to read this review. As you know, we have an open door policy. At any time, employees are empowered to share feedback or concerns with any manager, including our company President. I'd ask that you reach out to me so we can dig deeper here. Thanks!
