Thank you for this 5-star-review! I'm happy to see so many pros that resonate with you. In terms of the compensation, would love for you to have a conversation with your manager (or any manager) regarding your concern. I don't think this is a widespread concern so I'd want to be sure we're addressing this personally. Thanks again!

Best company that I've ever had the pleasure of working for

Pros

Tons of mobility Always in flux, constantly learning something new Open door policy is excellent, I've been able to voice concerns and have it not come back to bite me Coming in everyday is something that I actually look forward to... hard to say that with past employers

Cons

The only thing that I can say needs improvement, would be to unblur the lines between the various dev teams and the other departments that interact with them. The only other con that I can think of is that the pay is not on par with the industry, so it's difficult to find good candidates for open positions. I think we need to improve upon perks to help combat this... maybe laxing back on the work from home policy would be something to help combat some of the wage-driven turnover that we have seen. As of right now, it just feels like we're halfway in between feeling "trusted" and "not trusted" to do our work while wfh.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm really glad to hear you say you like coming in to work everyday. I never want anyone on any of our teams to feel otherwise! In regards to the work from home policy, I agree with you there. We were actually just reviewing that a couple weeks ago, and have some changes coming up very soon that I think will address some of your concerns. In general, we have been looking to make sure our pay /perks/benefits mix is really competitive. We've also been working hard to improve processes within all the IT divisions, as well as with external ones. Communication is such an important piece of the overall puzzle, and it can make or break projects. That will continue to be a priority. If you have any specific thoughts or ideas that I haven't touched on, swing by and I'd be happy to hear them out. Thanks!

Pros

benefits , atmosphere, work environment, people are awesome

Cons

seems to be a favoritism thing going on, Other departments get Title changes and "promotions" every 6 months... no recognition for us- Tech Support does Everything for Everybody and we get NOTHING from Anyone

I'd have to say, in the past few months alone, Tech Support has had several team members promoted to other positions in IT, or promoted up to Team Lead from within. We just sent out a company wide announcement about one of those moves a couple of weeks ago, and will be sending another one out soon. Considering that Tech Support is a smaller - though definitely critical team, I think the advancement opportunities are pretty strong. Our management team is definitely looking at what the right balance is in regards to the quarterly update meetings. There is always so much good work going on, it is hard to always spotlight everyone. In some cases, it can seem likes Sales gets more attention - so we are talking through how to better format those meetings. In the most recent company wide meeting we held, we actually had more winners walk up to get their awards from IT than from any other department. Ultimately, as a current member of the team, I really do encourage you to swing by and come in to talk to me. I'd welcome the chance to talk through your concerns in an open and constructive way.
