Pros

I do not see any pros for this company

Cons

They turn and burn an do not care for their employees or their families. They say they will help you with everything and you have a ton of support but it's all a lie.

Pros

Homeside is unlike any other mortgage company I have ever worked at. - Everyone is eager and willing to help the person next to them. - Wonderful hands on training - Work/Life balance (goodbye 60+ hour mandatory work weeks) - Great compensation plan that is simple and straight forward - Managers that actually help you and care how you are doing, but who don't micromanage/breath down your neck.

Cons

The only thing i dislike is my commute to work. Wish the office was in the city.

Pros

- "Modern Mortgage Company" is a bit of an exaggeration, but at least it's moving in that direction

Cons

- Partner politics impedes progress - Departments compete for resources instead of working together to improve - No single source for reporting - Environment favors Loan Officers, but tends to neglect most on the operation teams - Managers/leaders spend to much time "in the weeds" - Little to no transparency around company's financials - Terrible benefits: medical, 401(k), etc - Work-life balance is exaggerated here. Lots of games to favor more "butt in chair" time
