Pros

The majority of customers were wonderful to work with. The Back Office staff was very helpful when dealing with an issue.

Cons

The software that the tellers use was very old and clunky and the two years that I worked at Horizon we were promised new software within the next 12 months. I was informed by an employee still working for Horizon that they are still using the same antiquated software still.

Pros

Smaller company so your voice gets heard and you have easy access to upper management. Minimal micromanagement. PTO is similar to other organizations. Technology is similar to other organizations.

Cons

Benefits are subpar. Medical is very expensive. Pay is under market. Company offers 0 paid time off for maternity/paternity leave which is extremely disheartening in this day and age and seems to really reflect how the company values their younger parents (women). All of the upper/senior management/department heads are made up of older white men and women (no POC). Minimal POC in the entire organization.
