There are a lot of really smart, hardworking people at this company who maintain positive, can do attitudes. Everyone really tries to respect one another, and they are constantly trying to innovate and do things better and take care of the associates, the customers and the hotel owners. The CEO, Robert, is a caring individual who truly cares about the people in the company more than any CEO I've ever worked for. He's very smart and has high expectations, but is reasonable and really understands the business really well.

Cons

As hotels sell, it can be challenging to retain all the top associates, especially if they're not willing to relocate.

Pros

HVMG has an excellent culture which gives GMs and Managers the autonomy to succeed and grow to their fullest potential. They set the expectation I would be CEO of the hotel, and two years later they remain true to their commitment. Very knowledgeable and supportive corporate team, strong leadership from the CEO down, and a growing company with tremendous long-term potential.

Cons

Ownership partners buying and selling hotels. Might have to be flexible to relocate to grow with the company.

A very supportive and caring corporate structure. Open to and solicits honest feedback. Allows each property the freedom to set vision to implement the HVMG culture and culture is easily adapted across all brands. Focused on and rewards results. Tools and technology are supported for all divisions. Targeted growth is focused on full service hotels, both branded and independents. Works well with all stakeholders and has experience with multiple flags.

Cons

Entrepreneurial company and mindset that looks for self starters to join the team. Must be willing to set your own path to achieve results. Candidates looking for more structure might find transition difficult.
