Pros
I have been working for HE for the past several years and have seen a LOT of change occur. With that change, I still believe the values for the company remain the same and that they still do care for their hotels and associates. For me, HE is an easy company to work for, as long as you work hard, show the results, you will get left alone to run the property as you see fit for your guests/associates/owners. Company growth underway is phenomenal and have a lot of exciting projects coming up, now is the best time than ever to get in and show what you're capable of doing!
Cons
As it seems from others they have lost their 'touch' with the property-level at times, but that can easily be corrected with more Ops support. Yeah pay could be better, but money does not always equal satisfaction. I also do feel that owner relations needs to be stronger. If an owner wants something out of the ordinary, instead of challenging them I feel the Ops teams give-in more often than anything.
