Went from caring to corporate in a few years. Base pay for both hourly and salary is not competitive in the markets they are in. Benefits are terrible for hourly. Growth potential is minimal, and promotions are not based on skill, but rather, who is well-liked. Losing GREAT managers/coaches/associates frequently now, due to all the reasons listed in the previous reviews. Associates are left on auto-pilot, and are rarely acknowledged for their contributions, often leaving them to stagnate in the same position for abnormally long times, despite their efforts to be noticed and acknowledged by bringing results to the table and stability and profitability to their respective properties. Many, many promises have been made to many people, and very few are actually fulfilled. Certain senior executives will blatantly lie to your face concerning your future, if it is in their best interests. Honesty goes a long way. The core values are there; they have just been ignored as of late, and everyone except the upper echelon of corporate management sees it, hence the preemptive departure of so many associates over the last few years. There is no open door policy. The "three legged stool" that consists of responsibility to it's owners, it's guests, and it's associates so often touted in the culture statement lost one of it's legs a few years ago. A two legged stool will always fall in the end, even if it manages to stay upright for a time.
