Exciting vertical with great employees

Pros

There's almost nothing bad to say about working in travel. It's an exciting and competitive vertical with strong YoY growth. From a marketing standpoint, it's nice to work on a brand that's so forward thinking.

Cons

Work life balance can be a challenge, especially for certain teams. Occasionally you run into the usual corporate red tape, which can be a bummer.

Well Paying with Growth Potential

Pros

Hotels.com pays very well. If you are willing to put in the effort, you will grow, since you are not only working in a growing company, you are part of the Expedia family, and they make it really easy to move between brands. You are not American? Hotels.com sponsors you so you can work for as long as you want.

Cons

Right now, there is not a career path, if you want to grow, you have to define what's the best next step for you and go for it
