Pros

Free breakfast sometimes Once a month free drinks Decent benefits

Cons

Direction less management Moving jobs to India and other locations and the way they do that is they frustrate people by one way or the other and once the person resigns his job is moved to Budapest or India. That is the reason only politicians make to the next level rest just work and leave in silence would recommend if you just want to have some easy time but if you are looking to make your career with them I'll advise caution. Most recently trouble makers i.e Managers/directors along with Interns have been tasked to do a PR for the company on glass doors and social Media so take their reviews with a kilo of salt.

Pros

Great office in angel , good facilities , pool table , cycle lockers etc. Right by the tube station. Chapel market and exmouth market nearby

Cons

People are nice and helpful, but management is weak. Very short term focussed and lives on PowerPoint. Management has a fascination for PowerPoint junkies and forgets people who can get things done

Pros

Good work life balance. It's a good place to gain experience for junior to mid-level developers, but there's no real place for senior developers. There are some talented people that are enjoyable to work with.

Cons

Management seem deaf to the concerns raised by their staff, and they appear very self-serving. Tech managers/team leads who are not from a development background are unsuitable for these roles. There is no senior tech leadership. Although there are some people who demonstrate leadership and innovative solutions these individuals are kept in their own pods, so there is little cross over of ideas throughout the company.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the great work-life balance here, it’s something we pride ourselves on at Hotels.com. It’s a shame you felt like some team members were unsuitable in their roles but we aim to hire individuals from a variety of backgrounds based on their skills and attributes rather than a specific background. We encourage individuals to raise concerns to management or speak to their HR Business Partner.
