there are no good metrics to measure the performance of a developer other than the opinion of a manager that doesn't care about story points delivered, just matter what this guy thinks about you.
if you are doing something wrong you won't know it from your direct manager, you receive an alert form other people instead.
they just care about the delivery no matter what.
working for them you are going to be just a number because even when they decided not to work with you anymore your manager won't say you anything, they just remove the access to everything and that's it, you don't even have time to say goodbye.
