      flexibility, visit campuses and make a difference in teaching and learning, supportive direct management

      Cons

      T. Grier operated on fear, removed position before the contract was over, resulting in laid off employees owing $3k back to the district; ongoing changes make work ineffective

      Pros

      Summers off, Thankgiving off, and Christmas off.

      Cons

      The district is full of small minded, ignorant, disrespectful people that make doing your job more stressful than it has to be. School administrative staff not necessarily supportive of the work that a nurse does and the time that it takes to see all of the children, in addition to the staff. The district inandof itself has a high turnover rate for nurses because of this. In my opinion, the "stuff" that you have to put up with makes the job not worth it.

      Supervisors have special talent for sucking souls from hardworking individuals

      Cons

      Most district employees do not value human life, run an education system as though it were a corporate machine, and possibly (stipulation) don't love kids anyway
