The pros are that there are many education opportunities available. The pay is better than most school districts in other states.

Cons

Cons are that Texas is not involved The Common Core State Standards (CCSS), which provides a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn.

This organization has many opportunities to individually contribute to student learning thru volunteering and teacher and campus support.

Cons

Way too many management layers. So many resources have been thrown at making life better for the adults that are employed. The student' s needs have been forgotten.
