      Pros

      I have never heard a negative comment about the company or culture here. Executive leadership is engaged with staff at all levels and take action. Layoffs are practically non existent. Staff were ensured opportunities to complete 40 hours/wk during the pandemic, despite some department closures. Internal promotion opportunities are widely encouraged. Consideration for experience and skill set sometimes outweighs the degree/certification.

      Cons

      Some practices are resistant to change or consideration. There are no separate balances for PTO and sick time. All time used is deducted from one bank. Absence during natural disasters is punitive.

      Pros

      Flexibility is amazing. Working on projects that will translate to saving human lives is an amazing opportunity!

      Cons

      This HR has to be the most powerful entity I've ever encountered. They have the power to tell established MDs who they can hire, what title they can have, and how much they will be paid, and there is no going against their decision; they have final say. They also take a VERY long time to process anything. Onboarding takes months unless you are applying for a position that is in great need like Registered Nurse.
