      They seem very interested in new nurses!

      The administration can be a bit over demanding and at times don't see the patients as most important.

      Pros

      They are very flexible and kind to their volunteers. It is such an exciting place to be with so much going on everyday. Even if you aren't interested in working in the medical industry I would recommend volunteering here.

      Cons

      I honestly can't think of any downsides to volunteering at Houston Methodist. It does take a few visits before you can get started.

      Lack of praise, overlapping of tasks/jobs, job requirements are strict, who you know is really the way into this industry, good work sometimes goes overlooked.
