Pros

Centrally located, onsite lunch options including Starbucks, a few good people sprinkled throughout the organization.

Cons

There is no accountability for results or recognition for a job well done. Everything within the organization is political whether it makes good business sense or not. There is no real career ladder and some (not all) of management micro-manages times 1000.

Pros

Friendly staff, prestige, notoriety, excellent benefits. Could rethink pay structure. It is a magnet facility, which means that it is a competitive workforce, most of the employees hired here are the top of their class. The older staff did not face this stiff competition and tends to be burnt out, giving poorer quality care and lacking initiative.

Cons

Could rethink pay structure. Patient transportation system is awful, parking opportunities for employees are inconvenient and expensive. Things are so hectic from day-to-day, makes planning difficult. We are chronically understaffed.
