Pros

Benefits excellent, salary on par with other hospitals in medical center.

Cons

No way to advance. Management not involved in day to day work, which keeps them out of touch of true issues and problems. Changes too slow to take place.

Pros

- Unbeatable benefits - Excellent reputation to the outside, not internally

Cons

- There is rarely if ever enough money to give raises, fund projects, etc. - The clinical care is absolutely chaotic. I would not be a patient here. - Management follow through in the administrative and clinical areas is lacking. - Very little accountability for management. They answer to no one; senior management is too busy to deal with smaller issues. - There is no room to move on the administrative side, unless you move to a different department, which may not be the area you wish to work in.
