Depending on your supervisor, the work/life balance was great. All in all, HCC is a great place to work and really the benefits are the best part. Certain people there are also wonderful, but it depends on your department.

Cons

Whatever you do, just avoid the development office. I never worked in that department, but over the years I'd heard nothing but terrible things about that team (specifically the head of the department), and I couldn't believe they were actually act the way that they did. Don't try to get a raise because it won't happen and don't try to advance your career by asking for a title change after multiple years in the same position because that also won't happen.
