Faculty at Howard Community College are dedicated, knowledgeable and caring. They work hard to create excellent learning experiences for students and support their success.

Cons

Growing campus has some construction to work around.

Pros

Excellent benefits- The health insurance plans offered are fantastic, tons of PTO included unlimited (accrued) sick days. Educational reimbursement is great. There is also a stellar wellness program/ gym on campus.

Cons

Pay- though the benefits balance the low pay. Especially for dual income families. Parking is also a bit if a terror, but they are in the process of building a new garage that will hopefully solve the problem. The last issue is upward mobility- as a young professional, there are not many opportunities to grow your career.

Cons

The pay is not very competitive and they rely too heavily on adjunct faculty.
