Pros

Howard Community College has a great environment to work in. The student body is great to work with. Plenty of time off and very good health insurance options.

Cons

As a staff member it is hard to grow. There is not a lot of turnover, therefore positions are rarely open. A lot of times they hire from outside the college instead of promoting within. Pay is lower than average because it is education field. Very hard to gain promotion without a Masters degree.

Great team, great environment, good place to work. Dual monitors helps you stay organized and efficient. Good to know you've helped student achieve their dreams.

Cons

Your working customer service, so you know to expect some unfriendly students. During peak season, you'll get behind on voicemails, and your files, but it's expected and it won't last too long.
